Meet the TeacherHi! My name is Ms. De Avila, and this is my seventh year in Lee County Schools. I look forward to working in partnership with Mrs. Ruiz throughout the 2020-21 year. I am confident that together we can provide the support and encouragement needed to help you, as a student excel. I started my career as an Investigator Payment Specialist at a pharmaceutical company in Nutley, NJ with an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice at Kaplan University. In 2010, my family and I decided to move to NC; it was a life-changing experience. I took the opportunity to join an after school program and I really enjoyed working with a dedicated staff that impacted children’s lives daily. I went back into the pharmaceutical industry until the opportunity to work in Lee County Schools came about. It is a pleasure to be a part of this team! If you need to contact me, my email address is pdeavila.sl@lee.k12.nc.us. Telephone number: (919) 718-2400 ext. 2169 ELL Common Core Standards
